Bucket list item checked off. We made it to the Great Wall of China!
The Great Wall is one of the Wonders of the World and, to be honest, it’s easy to see why. The shear beauty of the structure and setting is absolutely breathtaking.
The Wall is 13,000 miles long. Yes, you read that correctly, thirteen thousand. This entire structure was built by hand, making it one of the most impressive architectural feats in history.
Stairs follow the ridges of the mountains and hills with fortresses dotting the path..all created by men.
There were walls already in place to protect individual kingdoms along the path. The first emperor of China had the walls connected to form the Great Wall of China.
Great question! The cost to visit the Great Wall of China varies greatly. It all depends on the are of the wall you visit, whether you join a tour or just visit independently, if you take the chairlift to the top…
There are so many variables! We can tell you that there is at least one entry point that is FREE. The rest begin at around $4 US.
Absolutely! We 100% recommend visiting the Great Wall of China. It is one of those moments in life you will never regret.
