Stock up on some small travel basics at your local Dollar Tree!
Let me begin by saying that this is not a sponsored post. We just happened to find some really great deals and wanted to share them with you!
Grab some of these cute sets of toiletry bottles! While flip top bottles are not always our first choice, they will definitely do if you pack them carefully. Just make sure your store them in a sturdy Ziploc freezer bag. Freezer bags are sturdier for packing than the basic storage bags and are a packing must-have for Broke Teachers Travel. (Not a paid advertisement. We have no affiliation with the company. We just really love them!)
Travel size packs of tissues are always a necessity. Tuck them in your suitcase, personal bag, jacket, or anywhere else you can stash them. They come in handy if you’re in a public restroom that is out of toilet paper! Or, if you’re like us, they can be great for wiping up small food spills.
Need a hair tie? The Dollar Tree is a great place to stock your travel hair accessory supply as well! They have sooo many to choose from. And, they’re only $1.25!
Tossing a few disposable rain ponchos in your daily travel bag is always a good idea. Years of traveling to Disney during the rainy summers taught us to be prepared.
Grab a few of these convenient (And did we mention disposable?) treasures. It’s so nice to be able to toss the wet garments once you are done with them. Traditional rain gear is cumbersome and often gets mildewed when traveling.
These ponchos come in a variety of colors and are a bargain at $1.25. You can stock up for the whole family.
It’s worth spending a little extra on some items when you travel. However, many of the smaller items can be purchased at discount stores to save a few dollars. You can take the money you saved and put it toward your trip. Even a few dollars can buy you a cappuccino in Italy!
