So, we did a thing. We did some serious traveling in the U.S. this summer. And, where did our adventures begin? Well, Las Vegas, of course!
We love to try new places that aren’t major chains that we have at home. So, when we discovered Blake Shelton had opened Ole Red, Las Vegas we were more than happy to pop in and see what all the fuss was about. And, wow, are we glad we did.
Now, we went for lunch. So, things probably look a lot different if you visit later in the day.
We were pleasantly surprised that there was a live band cranking out music while people dined and danced. While the music was a bit loud (Are we getting old?), it was awesome!
The food? Amazing.
The menu leans toward comfort food. They offer everything from burgers to chicken and waffles. There’s something for everyone. They even have Gluten Free options! (This made my little Gluten Free heart so happy.)
It was fairly early and we had a late breakfast. We decided just to split one of the big burgers with fries. We had plenty of food, even some left over. Both items were fantastic.
It was nice to sit down in the air conditioning and enjoy some downtime from all the walking down the Las Vegas Strip. Did we mention that it was 105 degrees in Vegas?
Ole Red is a great option if you’re looking for comfort food and an escape from the casino scene while in Vegas.
