We Saw Taylor Swift Memorabilia!

We saw Taylor Swift memorabilia!

We saw Taylor Swift memorabilia during our recent trip to Nashville.

Discount and Taylor Swift in the same sentence?

We ran across memorabilia for one of the biggest music stars in the world during our recent visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame.  That’s right. The one. The only. Taylor Swift.

Just so you know, the Hall of Fame offers a teacher discount for admission. This will be the only time you ever hear the words “discount” and “Taylor Swift” together.

What are Swifties?

Swifties are the dedicated fans of Taylor Swift.

Jeff has become an honorary Swifty, thanks to two young Swifties we know. He earned his title by sending them pictures of a few of the displays from the Country Music Hall of Fame. (And, I caught him listening to Anti Hero in the car the other day.)

Why is Taylor Swift’s Memorabilia in the Country Music Hall of Fame?

Taylor got her start in country music. It is what is often referred to as her Debut Era. Rumor has it that the late Toby Keith was the person who originally signed her. Although this is something we can’t confirm, we would love to know if it’s true.

Attention Fellow Swifties!

Be sure to pop into the Country Music Hall of Fame next time you’re in the Nashville area. Taylor’s career is well represented in this venue.

The education center is even named in her honor.

Taylor’s music is represented from the beginning to the present. From the guitar she smashed in the video for Anti-Hero to the banjo she played in Our Song, Taylor’s career and influence on music is on display.

Taylor’s accomplishments

Not only did she successfully cross music genres, she has managed to get girls of all ages interested in football. Young girls now sit beside their dads on living sofas across the world watching football.

 Our recommendation

If you have the opportunity to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and see the Taylor Swift exhibits, don’t pass it up.

And remember, break the monotony, not the bank.
